What's an IP address?

An IP address is a string of numbers separated by periods. IP addresses are expressed as a set of four numbers, an example address might be 192.168.1.1 Each number in the set can range from 0 to 255.

Paga whitelists your static IP to provide additional security for your integration.

Paga will only acknowledge API requests coming from your whitelisted IP address on any debit transaction on your account.

Debit transaction include Billpay, Airtime and Money transfer

How to whitelist your static IP

  1. To whitelist your IP, kindly fill this form and our team will get back to you.
  2. You’re able to whitelist multiple IP addresses on your account, simply separate each IP address with a coma on the form

We don't have a static IP

  1. If you don't have a static IP, we may generate a wildcard IP (*.*.*.*) on your account.
  2. To whitelist a wildcard IP, kindly fill this form and state your IP address as *.*.*.* and our team will get back to you.

IP Error

If your server IP is not whitelisted for your debit transaction, you'll receive the following error as an API response.
Invalid login. This device fails secondary credential check.

Ensure you only initiate a debit transaction from the whitelisted serve IP address
